Based on our successful 40L WorkSack, the 40B responds to the desire of folks like Kelly Cordes and Max Turgeon for a pack that would work for Alpine Cragging or serious routes in more civilized areas. It is the same size and volume as our award winning 40L WorkSack, stripped to the alpine essentials.
The 40B transfers loads excellently with the same front panel design and internal compression capabilities of the larger WorkSacks, but it is sized for smaller folks, better packers or folks closer to a road. In the testing phase, this pack became a staff favorite forcing us to wonder why we didn't make it sooner.
The suspension on this pack is the same as on the 40L pack. You can see how big the pack is in comparison to the new 75L and 30L WorkSacks on our picasaweb gallery.
